It can be a great relief to know that we aren’t alone with how we feel; that we aren’t mad, bad or crazy. Hearing about the emotional journey of others and about some of the small but important things that have helped them can take the pressure off and allow us to find some kindness for our own experiences.
This week for mental health awareness week I’d like to share with you this video we made about mental health during lockdown. In these stories of struggle and survival you will hear the wide ranging impact on mental health as well as stories of strength and resilience, unexpected moments of joy and questions about the future. By sharing these stories I hope you may find something relatable or simply a few minutes to reflect on your own journey.
