HOLISTIC THERAPIES &
BODY-FOCUSED APPROACHES
Living a mentally healthy life is about more than mind alone.
Our mind and body are connected within one nervous system and our gut health is intimately connected with our brain health. Emotions are a whole body experience and working with the body through mindfulness therapy, yoga, breath work, somatic experiencing, or nutritional therapy can be a powerful addition to your mental wellness journey.
Our Holistic Therapy Options
We create holistic teams around our clients so they can benefit from a mind and body combined approach. We assess this in your consultation and based on your interests and preferences.
Psychological talking therapies can be combined with any of our holistic therapies outlined below. We can add this at any stage of your healing journey. Alternatively, you may prefer to join one of our group courses or opt for a stand-alone holistic therapy.
Our courses are a supportive and enriching experience. Led by our holistic therapists, you will join a small group of others on their own healing journey. You can find out more about the next courses here.
Feedback from our classes & workshops
“Thank you – this has been so useful. Excellent topics which were explained clearly and made easy to understand. I am now keen to put into practice preparing more nutrient-dense meals.”
“Made me think about my values, negative thoughts and coping strategies for handling things when life is not going according to plan.”
“The BEST investment into my health. I left feeling the most compassion I have had for myself in a long time. I haven’t beaten myself up today over menial things and told that inner critic ‘shoo’. I feel like I am acing at life today”
Healing Community
For too long mental health has been stigmatised and treated behind clinic doors and in private spaces. As social beings we gain so much from connecting with those around us. To be human is to struggle and in this shared experience we are not alone. Not only that but we have the opportunity to be heard, understood and to learn from others during our mental health recovery.
At The Bodart Practice, we aim to create healing communities online and offline that can be safe, supportive and empowering.
Connect with us online and through our socials to have a sprinkling of holistic mental health support throughout your week. You can also join our mailing list for useful tips and exercises, and to hear about new events.
