DR NATALIE BODART
Founder and Clinical Psychologist
I'm Dr Natalie Bodart, founder of the Bodart Practice. I believe that having a community that supports you, as well as creating a sense of belonging, is the best way to help people connect with all aspects of life, not only their mental health.
Along with my expertise, I bring no judgement, wholehearted compassion, and a commitment to support every client that we work with.
I have over ten years of experience working therapeutically with clients across the lifespan struggling with a wide range of difficulties. I have worked in the NHS, with corporate clients, as well as privately. My special interests lie in attachment, attachment trauma and working with anxiety.
I am a chartered psychologist with the Association of Clinical Psychologists and I am an accredited Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists. I work with a range of short and long terms therapy approaches including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy.
AMANDA BRYAN
Lead Psychologist
Prior to joining the Bodart practice, Amanda worked for the HMP Prison Service for 14 years as a Senior Forensic Psychologist and NHS Clinical Lead assessing risk of reoffending and delivering and supervising group and individual therapy with men, women, transgender women, and young adults.
She specialises in working with clients with a diagnosis or suspected personality disorder, ADHD, autism, brain injury, and/or low intellectual functioning who struggle to manage complex trauma, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and violent ideation. She also specialises in working with clients struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, stress, low self-esteem/confidence, and relationship difficulties.
Amanda can deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) approaches, in addition to Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) trauma therapy. She has personal experience of PTSD, anxiety and has completed EMDR and CBT therapy as part of her recovery. These experiences have helped her become the therapist she is today.

DR ADILA MAHMOOD
Counselling Psychologist
Adila has experience of working in mental health services within NHS inpatient settings as well as outpatient services. She has facilitated therapy in groups, couples, families and individuals, across different age groups including children and adults.
Modalities she uses are: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy.

VICTOR REID
Integrative Psychotherapist and CBT Therapist
For the past several years Victor has worked as an integrative therapist combining person-centred and psycho-dynamic therapies. He has experience working with adults and younger adults with mental health problems such as low self-worth, substance misuse, anxiety and depression.
Victor’s personality influences his approach to therapy in which he maintains a collaborative relationship and a non-judgmental attitude, while providing a safe and confidential space. He draws on life experiences, external tools, skills and strategies to make changes in your life.
PATRICIA SMITH-FLEMING
Clinical Psychologist
Pat Smith has 25 years of experience as an NHS Clinical Psychologist, working extensively with adults and staff teams.
In therapeutic practice, Pat employs a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, stress and resilience training, interpersonal and relationship therapy, and trauma-focused EMDR therapies.
Pat has a particular interest and expertise in working with individuals experiencing depression, low mood, anxiety issues, low self-esteem and confidence, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and those overcoming trauma. Additionally, Pat has significant experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma and supporting people who experience auditory hallucinations.
DR HELEN DOWD
Clinical Psychologist
Helen has 15 years’ experience of working in NHS mental health services in various settings, including community teams, inpatient wards and mental health rehabilitation services.
She works with a wide variety of issues, including anxiety (social, generalised and health anxieties), OCD, emotional and mood difficulties, confidence and self- esteem issues, PTSD, complex trauma, bipolar disorder and psychosis.
DR CLAIRE HENRY
Clinical Psychologist
Claire draws upon acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy and systemic approaches. Ultimately, she believes in tailoring the intervention to the person and their needs and that a strong therapeutic relationship where people feel safe and supported is key to meaningful change.
She has a particular interest in emotional eating, binge eating and issues regarding weight and body image. She is also experienced in supporting people living with physical health issues. Claire also has extensive experience in working with anxiety disorders such as OCD, social anxiety PTSD, and Health Anxiety.
REBECCA STRANGE
Clinical Psychologist
Bec offers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
She is particularly interested how gender stereotypes affect our mental health and has experience in guiding individuals to understand themselves within their broader social context, to facilitate greater insight, self-acceptance, and empowerment.
Other areas Bec enjoys supporting clients with include body image dissatisfaction and disordered eating, LGBTQIA+, life transitions, identity and purpose, anxiety and depression, dual diagnosis (alcohol and drugs), grief, relationship difficulties, and supporting victim- survivors of trauma.
VALENTINA PIERANGELI
Practitioner Psychologist & Sports and Exercise Psychologist
Valentina is a dual-qualified psychologist, recognised as a Clinical Psychologist in Italy and a Sports Psychologist in the UK. Her extensive experience spans mental health, sports psychology, and physical health, enabling her to connect with a diverse audience in settings such as the NHS, elite sports academies, and private practices.
With a solid academic background and advanced training in evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Valentina is also pursuing further expertise through a psychotherapy program, demonstrating her deep commitment to ongoing development.
Valentina has supported individuals struggling with challenges such as bereavement, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, panic attacks, anxiety disorders, life-altering injuries, low self-esteem, body image issues, exercise addiction, sleep difficulties, and chronic and degenerative medical health conditions.
Working with Valentina means embarking on a journey of both self-reflection and actionable steps, to uncover the root causes of one’s struggles while addressing the symptoms that impact daily life and creating meaningful change.
DR SUSANNAH COLBERT
Clinical Psychologist
Susie qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2010 from Salomons Christchurch University and has developed her skills in trauma-focused therapy through further training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing therapy), becoming an EMDR Europe Accredited Clinical Supervisor/Consultant in 2024. She works with a range of emotional and psychological concerns people may experience, including feeling lost, struggling with confidence and trusting others, overcoming trauma, including sexual and racial trauma, dissociation, mood swings, complex grief, and hearing voices.
Alongside her therapy practice, Susie is also an educator, working as a tutor on the clinical psychology doctorate and offering supervision to other therapists. As an EMDR Europe Accredited Clinical Supervisor/Consultant, Susie can support EMDR practitioners to become accredited with the EMDR Association UK.
Susie has many years of experience working in the NHS providing psychological support to adults, families, and groups. Susie has a passion for working with clients to understand how difficult experiences in their past may be influencing their present and together finding a way to move forward.
DR ARTI MEHAN-PATEL
Counselling Psychologist
Arti’s sympathetic and caring nature fosters a safe and non-judgemental space where clients can openly share their thoughts and feelings.
Her experience spans a wide spectrum, including working with clients in prison settings, engaging in long-term counselling relationships, and providing effective short-term interventions. Additionally she is able to address drug and alcohol dependencies, helping individuals regain control of their lives and find healthier paths forward.
ANA MARIA CONNEELY
Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher
Ana Maria is a Trauma-Informed Senior Yoga Teacher, Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapist, and Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (Level 3 Buddhist Mindfulness). Currently completing her Master’s in Psychology, she brings a holistic, mind-body approach to her work, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and embodied practice for all.
She shares the practice of yoga through classes and workshops in London and wellbeing retreats in Ireland, creating spaces for healing and self-exploration.
Ana has extensive training in therapeutic styles of yoga. She has a deep interest in how the philosophy of this ancient practice offers relevant wisdom for modern living. As a clinical massage therapist, she integrates bodywork and somatic awareness into her teachings, offering a holistic approach to trauma-informed movement and mindfulness.
KATE DELMAR-MORGAN
Registered Nutrionist
With over 12 year of clinical experience Kate is a very experienced and highly qualified registered nutritional therapist.
Kate sees private clients, offers workshops on The Body Retreat, lectures in Child Nutrition and speaks at nutrition-related events and seminars. She is also the Nutritionist for Lulubaby and delivers nutrition workshops to pregnant ladies in their third trimester.
KATHARINE MCBEATH
Trainee Somatic Experiencing Practictioner
Katharine began as an Intensive Care Nurse in oncology at the NHS, but life led her to a new path. She joined a sexual assault charity, honing her skills in Person-Centred Counselling to help young adults with severe PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
Katharine addresses a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, confidence issues, anger, eating behaviours, PTSD and the impacts of trauma. She believes that all presenting issues can be explored through the body and SE is a powerful medium to do this.
DR CLARE CHANDLER
Clinical Psychologist -N/E London
Clare is passionate about supporting people and values the therapeutic relationship. She aims to create a safe space for her clients to explore their understanding of themselves and what they want to work on in therapy. Clare works collaboratively with compassion and open-mindedness.
Clare has worked with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties. Some of the presentations she has worked with include: stress, depression, grief and loss, general anxiety, appearance anxiety, health anxiety, OCD, self esteem issues, sleep difficulties, addiction, identity issues, relationship related problems, and the psychological impact of physical health conditions.
Clare also enjoys working with marginalised groups or people who see themselves as different or alternative including people from the LGBTQI+ community and people who are neurodivergent.
Clare believes in the positive benefits of connecting to ourselves and our lives in a holistic and meaningful way and that there are many routes to wellness.
RIDHIMA TANDON
Clinical Psychologist
Ridhima (pronounced rhythm-a) is a warm and welcoming therapist who takes a person-centred approach to individualized treatment. An LGBTQIAP+ affirmative therapist, she has experience with a diverse adult population, including trans and gender-diverse individuals. Ridhima is trained in various therapies, including CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, and Gottman Therapy, and offers one-on-one, couples, and group therapy.
With a focus on community psychology, her practice is informed by feminist, queer, and decolonial theories. Ridhima is dedicated to enhancing both individual and community health and well-being. She addresses psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and stress, with a particular interest in self-worth and relationship dynamics. Growing up as a third culture kid with Indian heritage in Australia allows her to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, and she can conduct sessions in Hindi if needed.

KATE WOJCICKA
Mindfulness Therapist
Kate offers mindfulness sessions and brings a wealth of experience that she’s gained over the last 15 years in statutory and voluntary organisations working with people struggling with substance misuse, mental health difficulties, and domestic abuse.
She offers evidence-based psychological interventions to deliver a variety of mindfulness courses including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness for Life (MBCT-L), Finding Peace in a Frantic World (FPFW) as well as the entry level Introducing Mindfulness and a follow-on course Deeper Mindfulness: Exploring Feeling Tone Frame by Frame. .
She is available for 1:1 mindfulness sessions.

LUCY FRY
Collaborater in couples work
Lucy is a psychotherapist available to see couples in Tooting Bec, South London. Her approach is both Integrative and Transpersonal, which means she incorporates a range of different therapeutic modalities with a spiritually minded overview.
Lucy specialises in addiction and issues forming secure relationships (e.g. fears of abandonment, intimacy and conflict), anxiety, depression, sexuality issues and healing from narcissistic abuse. She offers talking therapy as well as therapeutic work using art materials, sandtray, creative writing and dreams –all useful ways of working with the unconscious to access inner knowing.
FIONA BULL
Practice Administrator
Fiona is one of our wonderful practice administrators. She has over 10 years of experience working in administrative roles, eight years working as a data analyst, six years working in the public health sector and has also worked with the mental health charity Cornwall Mind.
She has completed various Mindfulness certifications and courses and she is passionate about holistic therapies as she has seen and experienced the power they have to bring positive change into people’s lives. She also practices mindfulness and meditation on a regular basis and in her daily life. Fiona says ‘The Bodart Practice is a wonderful team to be part of and I love working in a role where I have the potential to make a positive contribution towards the mental health and wellbeing of so many people.’

NICKI BELL
Practice Administrator
Nicki is one of our wonderful practice administrators. She joined us with twenty years of experience in administration and office management, including with the NHS. She lives in Scotland with her husband and two children.
Nicki applied to study psychology at University of Glasgow after high school but chose to pursue other avenues. Her reason for joining the practice is down to her interest in the field that hasn’t wavered over time.
When she is not hunting for Barbie shoes and cleaning up Lego she spends her spare time writing romantic fiction and has published four books so far. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
